Well, can I suggest something that was thrown together....
Total Detail - Sd Kfz 250 Alt: v.1: GD Living History: Vol 1 ISBN-10: 1904900003 ISBN-13: 978-1904900009
Here is a review from Amazon (who have three they can source).
"The detail of this book is outstanding, the layout is very good and the photos exceptional.
The re-enactors are top quality and some of the photos are deceptively authentic, I am a re-enactor of the period myself.
Also the detail of the vehicles and equipment and clothing would aid any modeller of this era.
The bonuses of the book include sections of historical reference to the personal equipment of the soldiers and of the Grossdeutchland Division itself."
You may also be able to get it autographed!

In addition, the definitive history of the Division was written by Helmuth Spaeter (of GD) in a three volume series entitled The History of the Panzerkorps Grossdeutschland: Volume I, II & III. A must read if you really want to know the full facts.

Just recieved my copy of 'Total Detail - Sd Kfz 250 Alt: v.1: GD Living History: Vol 1 ', top notch book!!!!!!, well done to all involved. I can see from the pics this was a joint venture with guys from several different groups taking part, how many are still left in PFRGD?
Thanks. It was actually only guys from effectively one group (ourselves), no-one else. At the time though we were just a "part-time" group and all belonged fulltime to another unit. This was our "side" impression if you like. Of course, that is no longer the case as we have evolved into what we are now.
There a several other former members who are no longer within our group (including Lumberinggreatox who is standing next to me in the sdkfz251/D!). Mind you, I am also standing next to the ("O" group in front of the second sdkfz251/D, and the Kubel, and the.......
Glad you like the efforts thus far of our beloved Leutnant. He deserves a lot of credit for what he (and many other guys) put into that book.
