Two weeks Manner until Beltring. Looking forward to seeing you all in the field. If the enthusiasm and effort that has gone on thus far, is shown in our attendance and portrayal, we would have made a good effort.

The Aufklarung abteilung reports all is well at present. Further elements of Panzer Fusilier Regiment, Grossdeutschland will be arriving over the next two to three days in the area of Schaulen, Lithuania.

Wow, your trench was awsome! It was great to meet everyone and be able to ask questions 'face to face'. I am now sure that this is the group for me. Thanks so much for a great day.
I have just taken some photos of me in uniform (with the white GD shoulder boards), but I have no idea how to get them on here.

Well, well, well gentlemen, that wasn't a bad effort, I was mildly impressed! :wink:

I sincerely hope the photos and other bits do everyone's efforts justice. It was arguably the unit's best effort and display to date - and we have achieved some pretty good ones over 10+ years. The feedback from public and re-enactor alike was very complimentary.

It was excellent to see the "new" boys in action, real quality in both attitude and appearance - absolutely first class. Sondermann, your efforts with those blisters were admirable. Just remember, stand tall and stop smiling when a battalion commander drops by to inspect the positions!

Thank you all for a truly memorable event - still buzzing!

Really good to see you on Saturday. Thanks for your comments, hopefully we demonstrated what our unit is about, and what we can do. Glad you picked up some items. Rember that quality is always the best option, try to not be deflected by lesser, cheaper products - ultimately it reflects in your portrayal.
