Finally registered myself on the forum and wanted to take this oportunity to introduce myself as I would like to join you Panzer Füsiliers. I'm the guy who recently wrote some very positive things about your Website and Herr Unteroffizier was so impressed he published these on the forum as comments from an Ex Pat by the name of 'Joe Bloggs', thank you for the welcome Herr Kalten!

Although I live in Germany, I am really looking forward to getting involved and coming over to you as often as possible. In the meantime it would be great to have contact with you all via this forum until the first opportunity presents itself for us to meet personally.

Lastly, can anyone recommend a good read und lieber Herr Unteroffizier haben Sie mich vielleicht vergessen? Sie wollten nun letze Woche kontakt wieder aufzunehmen

I saw we had a new registered member and thought it was probably you!

I am really sorry for not getting back to you, and certainly haven't forgotten you! I have been on holiday the last two weeks and have been away, home, away, home, away and am now home again! In fact I was only speaking to mein Leutnant yesterday regarding you.

I will send you a further email tomorrow night, where we can start to thrash out the best way to get you involved. Meanwhile, did you get an email from me regarding our uniform requirements, I vaguely recall sending one last week in a short mail, but may have neglected to do so?

Good to speak to you tonight, from our conversation and emails I believe you will be a good fit within the unit. As I said, you remind me a little of our own Alsation "Tadpole", and he has been conspicuous by his commitment and attitude to date. I think you will be in his vein.

I shall dot the I's with the Herr Leutnant and once I have the nod I shall instuct Regimetal HQ to send your enlistment papers. I shall also introduce you formally (by email, so don't worry), with Kalten. He will se you right regards uniform and equipment. I apologise in advance for him!!!

That said, it appears you have already got the ball rolling with your M43 tunic and trousers, correct insignia and M42, all from our approved supplier list. That is the spirit we look for.

Yannick is speaking to the Herr Hauptfeldwebel tonight re the great progress on his kit, and his freshly purchased K98.
