Just thought I'd pass on that we had some very positive feedback for the website from people over the w/e. On that note, all kudos goes to our webmeister for the considerable amount of time he has invested in both this and the unit newsletter.

Just to let you know that the Herr Leutnant received compliments about the website from a European visitor. The comments have been passed on to the webmeister.

From my crude calculations, it would appear that we have just had our best month to date (November) with regards visits to the website. The total exceeded 8,000 hits over the month.

Not only is this testimony to the webmeister's efforts, it hopefully reflects our commitment to quality in all that we do.

We often receive positive feedback on the website. Here is the most recent we recieved from an ex-pat in Germany, who has enquired about joining.

"I am very impressed by the ambitions and objectives of your Unit and how you have structured the group too."

"Should I be accepted by you, I would think that 3 to 5 visits each year for events and or training weekends would be possible. It's not going to be cheap with flights and car rental but it could be worth every bloody penny with the right crew!!"

The Herr Webmeister provided these updated website stats;

2006 (re-launch of website) - 4,155 hits

2007 (PFRGD goes fulltime in Aug) - 11,933 hits, an increase of 287% on previous year.

2008 - 75,555 hits, an increase of 633%!

2009 to 12 Nov - 113,443 hits, an increase of 150% thus far.

Again, further evidence of the interest the website provides.

If the hit rate continues at the monthly average to date, we should be looking at between 110,000 & 115,000 hits this year. An estimated increase of approximately 150% on 2008.

This year we are showing that we have around 4,500 returning visitors. Anyone know how to recruit them???

Since the film was uploaded, the website has received an increase of hits on 2008 of 135% to 147%. Great stuff Wolfie!
