Just an update on our preparations for Beltring 2008. It has been confirmed that we will be working alongside our kameraden "March Past" once again, and 2Kp GD. The scenario will be Romania 1944.

We will keep you updated as to further developments.

I am having my hair cut this afternoon if you must know . Short back and sides and long on top .

My Bread bag IS going to be FULL of the folowing items...Spork (Original), Black Butter Dish (original) Esbit Cooker (Original) and boxes (Copy) (and Matches-Original). Repro Red Cross Scho-Ka-Kola tin and chocolate. A few apples, Bread, Jam, Butter etc etc.

I'll ALSO have my pockets full of items such as...Soldbuch, Deontamination bottle (with water inside (for the right waight) and repro lable), Wallet full of original and repro items , and my K98 cleaning kit etc etc.

Well, a big thank you to those who attended and helped pull a tricky situation around. Looking at the blisters on my hands and the aching shoulders that I have tells me that I need to get to the gym!

Well done to Paul who made it up from Cornwall. Excellent effort to date with your kit, (will email you Klaus's email address), but we need to sharpen those scissors....

In addition to our members, a big thank you to Willi and Uwe for supporting us. (Willi, if you read this can you please drop me a line with your email and postal address and Uwe's email address also - thanks). Thank you to Klaus for offering his services Sunday (good to see you again!).

In addition, meeting some old faces (who do this stuff for real was an absolute joy), especially as one will be re-joining our ranks next year. Hurrah! On that note, we have around six guys who will or are very likely to bolster our ranks by the new year, and sound chaps they are too. Marvellous stuff!

Good to finally meet Nathan (complete with additional basic kit )and his Dad too. Hopefully we will see you again at Detling.

I will touch base with you all to ensure you made it home safe and sound.
